The island of Porquerolles is part of the archipelago of the islands of Hyères, with Port-Cros and Le Levant. These 3 islands are also called the Golden Islands. The largest and most famous of these islands is the island of Porquerolles, the pearl of the Golden Islands, with its 7 kilometers long and 2.5 kilometers wide. It can therefore be easily visited on foot or by bicycle. Protected since 2012 by the status of National Park, it offers beautiful landscapes and impressive biodiversity.
Several hiking and biking trails crisscross this paradise island and allow you to contemplate fine sandy beaches with turquoise waters, secret coves, historical monuments or the charming village of Porquerolles. For the discovery of the island by mountain bike, the National Park has specially designed 4 bike routes lasting from 45 minutes to 2 hours for the longest.

The island of Porquerolles is easily accessible by boat. It is possible to choose among different shipping companies.
- All year round, the connection is made with the TLV-TVM, departing from Hyères, at the Tour Fondue de Gien. Count on about 15 minutes of crossing. By booking your ticket, you can also rent a mountain bike to ride around the island. If you wish to bring your own bike, an additional fee will be charged for the sea connection.
- In season, generally from April to October, you can also reach the island of Porquerolles from other towns in Var (La Londe, Bormes les Mimosas, Le Lavandou, Sanary, Saint-Tropez and Saint-Raphaël).
- Finally, it is possible to book a water cab for a personalized crossing.
