The island of Les Embiez belongs to Paul Ricard, creator of the famous Ricard pastis and the Castellet automobile circuit. The Paul Ricard circuit offers many races throughout the year including the famous Bol d’Or motorcycle race in September.

Marked trails allow you to discover the island without disturbing the fauna and flora.
Ideal destination for families, this jewel of the Mediterranean offers magnificent landscapes with its green nature, its creeks, its rocks sculpted by the sea, its wild creeks and its beautiful sea beds.
What to do on the island of Embiez with your family ?
You can undertake the tour of the island which represents few difficulties. It takes about 2 hours to walk along the small asphalt road that goes almost all the way around the island. A small tourist train also goes around the island in about 35 minutes. The driver will reveal the charms and secrets of this little paradise. You will be able to admire, on foot, by bike or by small train, very beautiful beaches, the panorama on the massif of Cap Sicié and the lagoon of Brusc.
You will also see pine forests and vineyards, as Paul Ricard revived viticulture on the island after his acquisition. Today, the wines of the Domaine des Embiez are certified AOC and in organic culture.
On the northern part of the island is the Oceanographic Institute founded in 1966 by Paul Ricard and Alain Bombard. It raises awareness about the preservation of marine life. With about a hundred species on the site, take a real dive into the heart of the marine world.
For a relaxing break, a swim, or to inspect the superb seabed, settle down on one of the many beaches of the island (plage des Allemands, de la Croisette, du Rix, etc.).
At the highest point of the island, at the old navy tower, the view is striking with the cliffs overlooking the sea. This is where Paul Ricard rests, facing the sea that he cherished so much.
